Introduction cookies
Knowing how to introduce yourself and how to ask other about their names may come in handy. You can always start with simple hej, which means hello. (Learn how to greet people in Swedish in this lesson)
Hej jag heter Fredrik. Vad heter du?
Hello, my nam is Fredrik. What is your name?
After you have introduced yourself you would usually say something like trevligt.
Trevlig att träffas.
It was nice meeting you.
You can either say trevligt att träffas or you can even use a shortened variant trevligt.
We can learn how to say thank you and you are welcome in this lessons as well. It is pretty easy in Swedish
