Week 1

1. larvigt — silly
En larvig reklam — A silly commercial.

2. en härskare — a ruler (master)
Vem är er nya härskare — Who is your new master?

3. hjälplös — helpless
Peter känner sig alldeles hjälplös — Peter feels completely helpless.

4. att väsa — to hiss
Nu får det räcka väste Mini — It is enough, hissed Mini.

5. öronbedövande — deafening
Med öronbedövande smäll kraschade det lilla rymdskeppet — The little spacecraft crashed with a deafening bang.

Week 2

1. ett streck — a stroke
Vi stryker ett streck över det — “Let’s forget it” (lit. we draw a line over that).
