Most common abbreviations
It may come in handy to know actively and passively the most common abbreviations used in daily Swedish on chats, messengers, e-mails and signs:
adr. = adress
dr = doktor
e.d. = eller dylikt
el. = eller
em, e.m. = eftermiddagen (efter kl 12.00)
etc. = et cetera
ex. = 1) exempel, 2) exemplar
f.n. = för närvarande
forts. = fortsättning
fr. = 1) från, 2) fru eller fröken
jfr = jämför
kl. = 1) klockan, 2) klass
